Your size in thirty seconds
Chrome Hearts lists rings in US sizes. Australian jewellers use letters. Find your usual AU letter, read across — and if you've never been sized, the measuring method is under the table.
| AU / UK size | US size | Inside diameter | Typical fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| J ½ | 5 | 15.7 mm | Smaller hands, pinky rings |
| L ½ | 6 | 16.5 mm | Common women's ring finger |
| N ½ | 7 | 17.3 mm | The most ordered women's size |
| P ½ | 8 | 18.1 mm | Larger women's / smaller men's |
| R ½ | 9 | 19.0 mm | Common men's ring finger |
| T ½ | 10 | 19.8 mm | The most ordered men's size |
| V ½ | 11 | 20.6 mm | Larger men's / index finger |
| X ½ | 12 | 21.4 mm | Statement pieces, thumbs |
Take a ring that already fits the target finger, lay it on a ruler, and measure the inside edge-to-edge in millimetres — match it to the diameter column above. No ring to measure? Wrap a paper strip snugly around the finger, mark, measure the length, divide by 3.14. Two more rules: wide Chrome Hearts bands wear tighter than thin ones, so on a wide band go up a half size — and measure at day's end, when fingers are largest. Between sizes? Ask us with your millimetres and the exact ring; we'll check it.
Pick your lane
The cross band
Repeating crosses around a solid band. Reads as jewellery, not costume — sits under a shirt cuff at work and holds its own on a night out. The one to start with, on the ring or middle finger.
Floral & full-carve
Carving across the entire surface, dark in the recesses, bright on the peaks. These are the rings that photograph like small sculptures — and the ones that gain character fastest with wear.
Dagger & statement profiles
Taller, heavier, meant for the index finger or thumb where they have room to sit up. Wear one, not three — a single statement ring beside a plain band looks deliberate.
Building the stack
Spread rings across both hands before stacking three on one — the brand's own look has always been distributed, not clustered.
Silver, worn right
It's going dark in the carving — is that damage?
No — that's the design working. The recesses tarnish and stay dark, the high surfaces polish bright against your skin, and the contrast is what makes the carving read. Polish the tops with a silver cloth monthly; leave the depths alone. Never dip-clean.
When should I take it off?
Pools (chlorine attacks silver), heavy gym sessions (sweat plus knurled bars scratch), and anything with concrete or tools. Everything else — showers, sleep, daily life — the ring is built for. Silver worn daily looks better than silver kept safe.
