Which length are you after?
Adanola makes the sweatshirt in three cuts. Same fabric, same fleece weight — the only difference is where the hem lands and how much room is in the body.
Sizing: UK sizes, same as AU. Cropped and regular — your usual size. Oversized — usual size for the slouch, one down if you're petite.
Three ways the set gets worn
The matching set is why people buy Adanola. But "set" doesn't mean one outfit — here are the three you'll actually use.
Full tonal set
- Cropped sweatshirt + high-waist leggings, same colour
- White sneakers, hair up, done
- Stone or oat photographs best — black is more forgiving
- Coffee, pilates, school pickup — the all-day one
Light top, dark bottom
- Oat or stone sweatshirt over black leggings or bike shorts
- Reads sharper than tonal, hides gym sweat on the bottoms
- Works for evening — swap sneakers for loafers
- The one to buy if you only get one sweatshirt
Over a tee, open at the neck
- Regular-cut sweatshirt over an Adanola tee, tee hem showing
- Sweatshirt comes off at midday, outfit still works
- Best for Sydney, Brisbane, Perth — big temperature swings
- Pair with sweatpants for travel days
Sweatshirt or hoodie? Depends where you live
Sweatshirt is the winter layer — a hood is overkill most days. One crewneck covers April to October, and it packs flatter than a hoodie for weekends away.
You'll want both. Sweatshirt for the office and mild days, the hoodie for June mornings and evenings when the wind picks up. Same colours across both, so they don't fight in the wardrobe.
Keeping it looking new
Brushed fleece is soft because the fibres are lifted — heat flattens them. Wash cold, inside out, and air-dry. Skip the dryer and the ribbed hem stays tight instead of waving. Don't wash with zips or towels; both pull at the fleece. Treated this way, a sweatshirt from this range looks the same after two winters as it did on day one.
