Do they shrink after washing?

Minimal on a cold wash and air dry. A hot wash or high tumble dry can tighten the length slightly.

Which is warmer — pullover or zip?

Same fabric, same warmth. The pullover feels a touch cosier because there's no zip at the front, but the difference is small.
