A travel day in Adanola sweatpants
This is the pair people pack first. Here's a Melbourne-to-Gold Coast day, hour by hour, in one pair of stone joggers.
Two colours in the bag — one on, one packed — covers a four-day trip.
The questions people ask before buying
Cuffed or wide-leg?
Cuffed tapers to the ankle and sits over sneakers — the jogger look, and the one to wear with the cropped sweatshirt. Wide-leg falls straight and longer, more like a trouser; better with slides or loafers and a fitted top. Same fleece either way.
Do they run big?
No — true to size on the waist and hip, with room through the thigh by design. UK sizing, which is AU sizing. If you're between sizes, go down: the drawcord handles the waist, and a smaller size keeps the length right.
How long are they?
Cut for around 165–172 cm. Cuffed styles forgive height either way because the ankle grips. Wide-leg on a shorter frame may pool — a single turn-up at the hem fixes it and still looks right.
Too warm for Australia?
For Queensland summer, yes — that's what the shorts are for. For everything from Sydney south, April to October, they're the right weight. Brushed inside, so warm without being thick.
Are the pockets actually usable?
Yes. Deep side pockets that hold a phone without it sliding out when you sit. No back pocket on most styles, which keeps the line clean.
Can I wear them out, not just at home?
That's the point of the cut. Fitted tee tucked in, cuffed joggers, clean sneakers — it reads as an outfit. Oversized top plus wide-leg reads as lounge. You control the dial.
What you're getting
Cold wash inside out, air-dry, no fabric softener — softener coats the fleece and kills the brushed feel. Cuffs and waistband stay tight for years if the dryer stays out of it.
